Moscow State Forest University is a major educational and scientific center of the forest complex. Moscow State Forest University was established in 1919 as Moscow Forestry Institute. Today Moscow State Forest University has 5 research institutes and 3 certification centers of educational and experimental forestry. There are 11 faculties and 54 departments in Moscow State Forest University. Till now Moscow State Forest University has trained 45000 professionals.
